At the start of Year 1, we read a book called Errol’s Garden and we discussed what you need to be able to grow something. We decided that we would grow cress. After a few weeks, the children were amazed to see that their cress had started to grow! Some of the children said that they were going to eat it as part of an egg and cress sandwich!
