Today, children in 5 Wrens have been writing letters. The inspiration for these letters has come from reading the book The Adventures of Odysseus. At this stage of our learning journey, the children have come to learn that Odysseus will leave home for many years to support in the Trojan War. Against his wishes, he will have to leave his new born son Telemachus.
The children have written letters to young Telemachus from their father to show how badly he feels about having to leave.
