Before the half term, the school learnt about the Platinum Jubilee and the Queen’s life and family.
On the last afternoon the whole school joined together on the field to celebrate the Jubilee with a picnic and some music from over the last 70 years. Every child had a drink, ice-cream and a red, white and blue themed cake made by the kitchen staff (they made over 800 cakes during the week).
Year groups looked at different themes during the week e.g. sport, clothes, music and found different ways to present their work. There was a lot of fantastic work completed during the week from Nursery right up to Year 6.
