Year 6 were lucky enough to work with artist Carrie Reichardt yesterday. Carrie has been asked to create a piece of work for Coventry City of Culture. This will be displayed on the Fairfax Street entrance of Pool Meadow bus station. The piece is celebrating Coventry’s Two Tone history and the children made a star from clay. These stars will be used alongside Carrie’s mosaic art and the children will be able to see their work once it is complete in July.
The children had a great time creating the stars and listening to some Two Tone music!
