Since the start of the academic year, the children in Year 4 have been taking part in weekly music lessons! They have been learning to play the Ukulele with Lucy.
Each Tuesday morning, every child in Year 4 gets a chance to improve their musical skills. So far the children have learned to play and knows the name of the 4 different strings. We have recently moved on to using our fingers to control the frets which create different sounds when we pluck the strings.
Ukulele lessons are definitely the highlight of the week for many Year 4 children! Long may it continue and let’s hope we have inspired some budding musicians!
