Year 6 have quickly and happily settled back into school life. They are enjoying being back together with their friends and teachers.

Last week, the children enjoyed some outdoor maths learning (and we were lucky with the amazing weather)! We spent some time in the forest school area completing some maths challenges such as: investigating whether the height of a tree is three times the distance around the trunk, completing a minibeast hunt and creating a graph of their findings, trying to find a stick which is exactly half the length of another stick and many more!

The children are really excited to explore their new topic for the next few weeks: Ancient Civilisations.
