Update 25th March

Dear Parents/carers

These are indeed unusual times and I thank you all for your patience and understanding as we try and adjust to the new rules crucial to keep this virus at bay.

Please remember that we must all stay at home wherever possible and reduce contact with anyone. For this reason, we are not allowing anybody onto the school site other than those children of key workers. This means that if you did not pick up your child’s work on Monday, we will be unable to get this to you at home. We are attempting to contact every parent via e mail to pass on log in details for Microsoft Teams. This is a programme that will enable you to communicate with your teacher who, from next week, will be setting a task a day to run alongside all of the activities you are doing at home (there is still a list of websites you can use to help you here on our website) There will be more information available to you please keep an eye on our website and if you haven’t already try and log onto Teams.

If you are entitled to a free school meal you will be receiving communication shortly to give you access to vouchers you can use at supermarkets. There is no need to contact school when this comes through, just follow the instructions and you will be e mailed the vouchers. If you haven’t already registered your e mail through Parent Pay then you will need to do this as soon as possible.

Things will change as we move forward, just remember to keep all of your family safe and we look forward to welcoming you all back to school at some time in the future.

From all at Frederick Bird Primary School
