Over the past few weeks, year six have been very busy ghost hunting! First of all they were tasked with applying for the – very prestigious – jobs by writing formal letters of application. After this, they wrote imaginative instructions to their team, which explained exactly how they wanted the ghouls caught. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful, so this week they’ve been busy writing recounts about what exactly happened with the ghosts. There has been some wonderfully imaginative writing and the children are showing real determination to try their best; using the full range of punctuation and word types they have learnt.
Work by Kelly Henry – a detailed set of instructions.
