It was an emotional but fun last few days with our year six pupils. On Monday 20th July the children had their leaver’s assembly and Graduation. This involved each class doing a talent show in front of parents and guardians. This ranged from a variety of dances, to sharing riddles, a cooking show sketch and mini presentations on a topic of their choice. The children really impressed the audience and did us proud. Well done.
We then moved onto the second half of the morning where children had their graduation ceremony. Each class teacher said a few words about the children in their class and they were awarded with a certificate and a year book. Some children were then given awards for their achievement during the year, this included the Elli prize and the Literacy award. Congratulations to all the children who received a medal.
The teachers at Frederick Bird would like to take this opportunity to wish all our year six pupils the best of luck in Secondary school. We hope they will build on the amazing achievements they have made this year and succeed in all that they do! Good luck Year Six we are proud of you
